How ideas travel in Throughliner

You have an idea mid-build and don't want to lose it — here's the path every idea follows, from capture to done.

Every idea, task, or "oh, we should fix that" moment follows the same path — no matter which skill you're in when it strikes.

  1. Capture — from anywhere, mid-build, mid-plan, or post-close. The moment something worth doing surfaces, say "please capture that.." so it isn't lost.
  2. Unprocessed — the holding area. A fresh capture lands in the Unprocessed section of your QUEUE. This is the "not yet thought through" pile. Ideas can sit here happily until you're ready to weigh them in /plan.
  3. Processed — where decided work lands. /plan is the only place captures get processed. You go through the Unprocessed pile with Claude, and decide each capture's fate. At the end of /plan, upcoming work is sequenced for best execution.
  4. /next — building the ready work. Once work is Processed and ready, in /next Claude picks it up and builds it.
